Handball and Football

On Wednesday this week, our Year 6 football team played their penultimate match of the Eccles League. They played against Beech Street who they drew 2-2 with at the start of the season and came out with a 9-4 victory. In what started as a close game, our team showed determination, passion and brilliant teamwork to come out on top! Well done boys!

On Thursday morning, we took a group of children to Salford City Academy to learn how to play Handball. Ran by Year 11 leaders from the Academy, our children were taught the rules of Handball as well as tactics and techniques which were new to all of us! At the end of the day we had a competition where we won 2 games, drew 2 games and lost 1 game. However, it was a great day and we all had fun.
